When I find myself in the process of creating, or even find myself talking about creating, my mind always tends to rely on rash instinct; pick a canvas, say, and think to myself, "I am going to paint something." I don't know what I am going to paint, or if it is even of the status of a painting, I just respond to an absent lingering feeling. An urge.

I understand my inner workings and concern over the next period of time, and I allow myself to take as long as I need. Sometimes a colour will flash in my mind, or a shape, or a face, and I just follow. Creating is almost a non-linear process to my brain. It pollinates between actives and mediums, meditations and folding laundry and putting it away - as examples go. In the next sections, you'll see a conglomeration of non-cohesive processes that have leaked through some of the other concrete and categorised  bodies of work showcased in my portfolio.

 

MY LIFE IS MY WORK. This is a stream of consciousness and a bridge for you to interact with my philosophy. Find yourself exploring through pages of perhaps meaningless work and I hope you find something of congruence in it.
